I founded CATALYST with the core aim to empower “social entrepreneurs” from around the globe with better leadership and management skills, and deeper insights into growing their organization successfully, through human potential methodologies like coaching and mentoring.

My visit to Kanthari (who empowers social visionaries to overcome adversity and drive ethical social change) in Kerala, India changed my entire perspective about leadership and what I would be a part of… in days ahead. It was there that I was driven with the noble idea to “empower the next generation of servant leaders”.

– Mel Leow, Founder of Catalyst and APIC

Social entrepreneurs are individuals with the heart for change. They think up innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. They are passionate, ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change.

They are visionaries. Rather than waiting for change to happen, social entrepreneurs find what is not working and solve the problem by committing their lives to changing the system, spreading the solution, and persuading entire societies to move into new directions for the benefit of society.
